The Network of ecological gardens in Gasteiz community centres was set up in 2010 in conjunction with the association Permacultura Kiribilore. They were created as a participatory space and a place for demonstrations in community centres. What is more, not only does the network have its own programme of activities, but also it provides resources for activities conducted in the centres, such as cooking workshops, play group activities, play centres, meeting rooms, cultural courses, social workshops and health workshops.
The Vitoria-Gasteiz Urban Ecology classroom is an open space for people to think about the many facets that make up the city's ecosystem. A platform is therefore set up where people can share knowledge and hold debates, meaning that people can have access to a wide variety of high-quality information that comes from different spheres and places.
