The Landarte programme is based on a cultural project in which the local population participates and manages merging with other cross-disciplinary or complementary artistic activities supported by resident artists. In this way, a creative, participative, innovative and artistic process was established, it has been developed through workshops and culminates in various productions.
The active participation of the local population from the outset is the backbone of these projects.
The medium-term objective is the evolution of these projects and the involvement of their participants. In some cases, it can renew budding projects, in others it can strengthen the involvement of the participants and/or their own evolution towards local economic development projects. In all cases there is promotion of auzolan or cooperative-collective work, as well as the enhancement of local heritage and contributing to forging local identity.
The fusion of innovative ideas and teamwork lead to distinctive projects of great cultural value that make neighbors feel identified. These are integrated into the cultural heritage of the locality, attracting visitors who additionally provide economic income to its population.
Awareness, passion and identity as well as a sense of community are the values that this programme aims to instill in the small communities of Navarre.
The implementation of small prototype projects that stem from the creativity of the artists and which are enriched with the contributions of the inhabitants of the small villages, make these cultural initiatives an engine of local, economic and identity development resulting in greater well-being in the community.
