The Social Charter for the Rights of the Basque Country includes rights for social actors, trade unions, cooperatives and people who are in favour of a social model that puts people's lives and nature at its core. We hold an assembly once a year in order to debate, consider and take decisions that will allow us to define a Social Agenda for the rights of the people in the Basque Country.
We are convinced that things can and should be done differently. The current political and institutional priorities need to change: the needs of the people must be put ahead of the interests of the capital market. We want to change the system, we want to make our own decisions about our towns and bodies, and we want to exercise our right to live with sovereignty!
