The National Indigenous Peasant Movement (MNCI) is a movement of more than 20,000 families of peasant and indigenous farmers in Argentina. Our strongest axes of the struggle are to achieve Integral Agrarian Reform and Food Sovereignty through the Popular Organization.
For us, agrarian reform and food sovereignty are two sides of the same coin, they protect each other. Food sovereignty means that the primary objective of the work on our land is to feed those who live in our country in a healthy and sufficient way. Also, we strive to anticipate the needs of future generations, using non-extractive methods and types of production that allow the regeneration of the nutrients in our soil. We defend our right to a culture of production, which provides healthy food to our people, through our projects.
