The Tolosaldea Energy Plan has been developed by Tolosaldea Garatzen, the regional development agency founded in 1994.
The Energy Plan examines the energy situation of the region, sets some objectives and specifies some actions. The assessment includes current energy consumption habits and the energy sources used. The Energy Plan pursues:
- Energy balance
- Savings potential
- Ability to produce energy
The measures to achieve these objectives apply to different sectors: housing, mobility, economic activities in the primary sector, industry, the third sector; municipal buildings, installations and fleets; and the use of renewable energies to supply large communities.
