The Transition Movement is the collective effort of an increasing number of people whom, every day, choose to organize themselves to creatively face the challenge of the Peak Oil, Climate Change and the Economic Crisis. They do this by developing initiatives in their communities (neighborhoods, towns, islands, neighborhoods, cities....) that increase their capacity for survival and well-being. This is carried out in light of the important changes that we will all experience in the coming years and also as a result of the decreasing availability of fossil fuels, the general decline of natural resources and climate change.
