Through the project "ECOPEZ: Promotion of sustainable fishing and responsible consumption", co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Green Jobs Programme of the Biodiversity Foundation, the aim is to contribute to the revaluation of artisan fishing, by training the different agents involved in the production and commercialisation chain of fresh fish products in the identification of artisan fishing.
To this end, the "Diagnosis of the Commercialisation of Artisanal Fishing Products" has been drawn up as a starting point for finding out the current situation of artisanal fishing in Galicia, as a productive activity, and of the Community of Madrid, as a commercialising activity.
