The Economy Serving the Common Good (EBC) is a proposal for a new economic, social and political model that is rooted in core values including solidarity, human dignity, social justice, environmental sustainability and democracy.
The EBC proposes a paradigm shift, moving away from a system where the main objective is economic growth and profit, achieved through competition, to a new model where the main objective is the common good, achieved through cooperation. If the EBC model is to be successful, we need political actors to be involved and, in particular, those closest to citizens i.e. municipalities.
