The itinerant producers' market, organised by Behemendi (the Rural Development Association of the Donostialdea-Bidasoa region), is a meeting point between producers from the Donostialdea area and the surrounding area and neighbours interested in buying fresh locally produced products and in having a direct relationship between buyer and producer. The philosophy of this market, on the one hand, facilitates a point of sale to the producer, generally a small family business, and on the other hand, promotes the supply of a wide variety of products.
The products offered by this fair are basically food, from fresh vegetables, fruit, bread, pasta, honey, derivatives of pork, duck, dairy, with a very wide variety of cheeses especially sheep, but also cow and goat. You can also find stalls with plants, mainly involved in the production of seasonal plant.
The market is held every Saturday of the month in a different place, always from 09:00 to 14:00:
First Saturday of the month: San Sebastian - Old Amara - Easo Square
Second Saturday of the month: Hernani - Berri Square Penultimate Saturday of the month: San Sebastian - Gros - C/ San Francisco
Last Saturday of the month: San Sebastian - Antiguo - Plaza Gaskuña
