Three friends created the Otsokop association in Angelu in 2015 and since then many more people have joined the project. Otsokop's partners are working to make sustainable food more accessible.
At first, the local food supply was made available online and each member had to list the products they wanted and the exact day that they wanted to pick them up. However, in 2016, the association made an important leap forward: the opening of an outlet.
The Otsolab shop is located in Bayonne and is open on Saturdays. Opening the store completely changed the number of members, from 100 to 400.
All the members take an active part in Otsokop's decisions and each month they have to spend three hours working on it: in the shop, making requests... The lack of intermediaries means that the producers are paid fairly and, moreover, that the products sold are quite affordable.
